Invitation to contribute

The ask
Write up to 500 words on "Why we startup". Approach the prompt as you like. If unsure, consider "Why did you choose to startup?" or "Why are startups valuable to society?".

Who is it for?
Young adults looking to forge their own path in life. They are actively choosing what to stand for, consider founding a startup, and are seeking reference points.

What is it for?
Refocus self-narratives from the inward-out, asking why before how before what. Help realise there is no single story by exposing a diversity of whys.

What is in it for you?
We expect your primary motivation to be sharing your insight and experience to readers. Your essay will feature aside other inspirational figures and will comprise a short bio designed to raise awareness about your work.

How will we know it worked?
By monitoring subscribers to a newsletter and essays analytics¹. A form for feedback and suggestions will give us a sense of what readers want.

We will publish this work incrementally on this blog and via a newsletter. We ask authors to license their work under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives) to ensure essays can be shared widely while not used for commercial purposes without further agreements.
